What this actually is.

Tech Briefing is a curated tech news service for software developers and tech professionals. Every weekday morning, we deliver the most significant developments in software, AI, and security — in a clean, scannable format.

How it works

We continuously aggregate stories from a carefully curated set of high-signal sources: official blogs from major tech companies, independent voices in the field, security researchers, release feeds, and quality news outlets.

Each story is scored for relevance and importance to a working tech audience. Only stories scoring 6 or higher (out of 10) make it into the daily briefing. Weekly editions filter for 7+, and monthly editions for 8+ — ensuring each digest matches your appetite for depth.

What you won't find here

No sponsored content. No tracking pixels. No "10 things you must know" listicles. No celebrity tech opinions. No referral links. Your email address is used solely to deliver the briefing — we don't sell it, share it, or use it for retargeting.

Suggesting sources

If you know a great tech blog, security researcher, or developer voice that deserves wider coverage, you can suggest a source. Each submission is reviewed against our curation standards before being added.

Frequency options

Daily arrives every weekday at 08:30 with the past 24 hours of significant news. Weekly arrives every Monday with the week's most important stories. Monthly arrives on the first of each month with only the genuine game-changers. You can subscribe to any combination.

Privacy

This is a self-hosted, independently-run publication. We use Listmonk for delivery and store no analytics on individual subscribers beyond what's required to send and unsubscribe. Email opens and clicks are tracked at an aggregate level only, to gauge what content resonates. You can request deletion of your data at any time.
